Air Force managed just 15 shots – only seven through the first two periods – in losing to Arizona State, 3-0, in a non-conference game at Cadet Arena on Friday night.

Junior goalie Zach LaRocque stopped 20 shots for the Falcons (0-3).

The Sun Devils (2-3) got all the offense they would need from Tyler Busch‘s goal 6:23 into the second period.  They added goals by Johnny Walker and Willie Knierim late in the third period, the latter into an empty net.

The Falcons have one goal in their past two games. The teams play again Saturday night at 7 p.m.
